You are most likely here because you are seeking help for yourself or a loved one. Taking your situation seriously and asking for support brings you one step closer to finding solutions and overcoming your current struggles. In the process of therapy, you will develop the strengths you need to cope with difficult challenges. I work primarily with adults who are experiencing difficult life transitions, chronic patterns that interfere with self-care and well-being, and/or who are searching to deepen practices for personal growth. I help clients shift patterns in relationships and behaviors that are no longer serving them. My goal is to guide you in discovering your true potential in leading a life that is healthy and fulfilling.
Many people find themselves in need of extra support during painful transitions in their lives. Finding a therapist who is non-judgmental, knowledgeable, compassionate and supportive can lead to new perspectives that will ultimately help you repair painful unresolved conflicts within yourself and with others. We will work together to better understand and resolve the current obstacles in your life. There may be long standing chronic problems you have struggled with for years, such as depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol use, or compulsions. Or you may be experiencing something that is more recent, like a relationship or work issue, a difficult time with your child or teen, or the death of a loved one. Using various therapy approaches and techniques, we will uncover ongoing behavior patterns or negative self-perceptions that may contribute to your current challenges and hold you back from experiencing a more meaningful life. I currently offer in person and tele-health appointments.
